Kedarnath city

Kedarnath city located high in thу Himalayas, 3580 metres above the sea level.

To reach Kedarnath one should go by foot or on horse from Gaurikund city, which is 14 km from Kedarnath.

Inhabitants

Most of city inhabitants are traders, businessmen brahmins and beggars. There are no local people - everything is made only for pilgrims.

Animals

One of Shri Shiva's names are "Pashupati". This means "Lord and protector of animals". Thats why we found it right to put here photos of local animals.
